BIO

Although not yet a teenager, Wylie Nelson is coming into her own as she prepares to take her passions, both personal and professional, to the next level.

In 2008, Wylie focused on pursuing more roles as an actor and a model. Recently however, much of her time has been dedicated to equestrian training and competition. All of Wylie's hard work to accomplish her equestrian goals has been paying off.

Wylie and her pony, James Blonde, compete in the short stirrup pony hunter division. So far, the duo has walked away with Champion or Reserve Champion ribbons from each competition they have entered. As a product of successful trainers and a family deeply rooted in equestrian competition, it is no wonder why Wylie has emerged as a “young rider to watch” on the AA-rated horse show circuit.

Despite her rigorous riding schedule, Wylie is dedicated to her career, having maintained a steady regiment of acting and voice lessons. When asked recently about her passion for acting, Wylie said, “I like to act. It is fun, and I like being in front of the camera, telling a story. I really like to read, so I like to read scripts too.”

In the near future, Wylie is excited to devote more attention to her acting and modeling careers. Since the young talent is currently seeking new representation, her mother, Carlye Byron Nelson, will be considering offers from interested agencies.
